Impact
Opening doors, unlocking potential, and transforming futures one scholar at a time. We believe education is the key to breaking generational cycles.
Challenge Foundation scholars have gone on to become engineers, attorneys, architects, accountants, doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, business owners, researchers, and more.
98%
of Challenge Foundation high school graduates enroll in post-secondary programs.
This far exceeds the national average of 52.3% of low-income high school graduates enrolling in post-secondary programs [1].
Across all three of our locations, our scholars are not just enrolling in school, they are thriving, persisting, and graduating at rates that far exceed national averages.
86%
of our scholars who attend a post-secondary program are persisting and/or graduating from college as opposed to the national average of just 26% [2].
Over the lifetime of the program, we've had a total of 226 high school graduates. We currently serve 146 middle and high school scholars and 75 university scholars across all 3 locations.
98%
of Challenge scholars are first-generation college students; they are the first in their families to navigate the path to higher education.
