Impact
Opening doors, unlocking potential, and transforming futures one scholar at a time. We believe education is the key to breaking generational cycles.
Challenge Foundation scholars have gone on to become engineers, attorneys, architects, accountants, doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, business owners, researchers, and more.
98%
of Challenge Foundation high school graduates enroll in post-secondary programs.
This far exceeds the national average of 52.3% of low-income high school graduates enrolling in post-secondary programs [1].
Our scholars are not just enrolling in school, they are thriving, persisting, and graduating at rates that far exceed national averages.
89%
of our scholars who attend a post-secondary program are persisting and/or graduating from college as opposed to the national average of just 26% [2].
Over the lifetime of the program, we've had a total of 157 high school graduates. We currently serve 70 middle and high school scholars and 40 university scholars.
99%
of Challenge scholars are first-generation college students; they are the first in their families to navigate the path to higher education.
For most of our scholars, higher education isn’t just about personal success, it’s about changing the trajectory of their family’s future.
