Impact

Challenge Foundation scholars have gone on to become engineers, attorneys, architects, accountants, doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, business owners, researchers, and more.

For most of our scholars, higher education isn’t just about personal success, it’s about changing the trajectory of their family’s future. 79% persist with the Challenge Foundation program from middle school to high school graduation.

96%

of our students are first-generation college students, meaning they are the first in their family to take this journey.

Over the lifetime of the program, we've had a total of 48 high school graduates. We currently serve 23 middle and high school scholars and 18 university scholars.

100%

of our high school graduates enroll in post-secondary programs.

This far exceeds the national average of 52.3% of low-income high school graduates enrolling in post-secondary programs.

81%

post-secondary graduates have earned their degrees or are on track, outpacing the 24% national average for first-gen students.

Challenge Foundation scholars have the opportunity to attend college across the US and abroad. The list below indicates where our scholars have attended.
