Mentor

As a Mentor with The Challenge Foundation, you'll play a vital role in guiding your mentee on their personal and academic journey to success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • ​Build a Strong Relationship: Develop a supportive and meaningful connection with your mentee and their family

  • Provide Academic Encouragement: Take an active interest in their schoolwork, academic progress, and extracurricular activities provide  encouragement

  • Engagement: Cultivate shared experiences around each other's interests

  • Time Commitment: Maintain regular communication and schedule in-person visits once to twice a month

 

Basic Requirements:

  • College degree

  • Clean criminal background (verified through a background check)

  • Clear driving record (no major violations in the past 7 years)

  • Willingness to learn and grow with your mentee
