Become a Mentor

Thank you for considering becoming a mentor to a Challenge scholar. Our scholars’ lives are incredibly enriched by their relationships with their mentors, and our mentors report that their lives are deeply impacted as well.

Prerequisites:

  • College degree
  • No criminal history, this will be verified through a comprehensive background check.
  • A clear driving record, with no major violations within the past 7 years.

Time Commitment:

  • Regular communication with your mentee via call/text/email
  • Minimum twice a month visits with your mentee during middle school, once a month visits during high school
