Graduation

Class of 2025

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown—our incredible Challenge Scholars are all grown up, and graduation is just around the corner! While each school’s graduation dates are listed later in this newsletter, we are also thrilled to host a special Challenge Graduation Celebration on May 31 at Graland Country Day School from 11:30 - 1 pm.

Graduates, families, and mentors will come together to honor the achievements and hard work of these remarkable young people. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate their journey and the bright futures ahead!

National Western Stock Show and Rodeo

In January, our 7th-grade scholars and their mentors had an unforgettable experience at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo. Thanks to the generous support of NWSS, students explored an art exhibit, got up close with animals in the petting zoo, and witnessed the excitement of a live rodeo. It was a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves in Western culture and create lasting memories with their mentors!

Paint and Chat

In February, our 6th-grade scholars and their mentors spent a fun and relaxing afternoon at Ceramics in the City. Together, they painted pottery, shared stories about their lives, and enjoyed delicious Chick-fil-A. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect through creativity and conversation while making unique pieces to take home.

Mentors Needed - Class of 2032 and Beyond

We are thrilled to announce that the newest class of Challenge Scholars has been accepted into our partner schools and will begin their journey in the fall of 2025! This incredible group of 10 young students is ready to embrace new experiences, challenges, and opportunities.  We are still looking for 3 female mentors to join this mentoring class as well as a few mentors for current scholars.

As our newest group of scholars embark on this exciting chapter, we invite our community to extend a warm welcome. Keep an eye out for these young people at upcoming events this summer—we can’t wait for you to meet them and join us in supporting them on their path to success!
